The Best of the Beat Music Awards, presented by OffBeat Magazine, is the annual awards ceremony that honors local music and musicians. The event features food from 25+ great local restaurants, music from the best of our local musicians, and, of course, we bring the the most fun party of the season! Come out and have the time of your life, meet local musicians and music biz folk at OffBeat's Best of the Beat Music Awards! The Best of The Beat is a project of the OffBeat Music and Cultural Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is a co-production of Positive Vibrations Foundation.

The Mardi Gras School of Cooking participated in a appreciation brunch for the 4th Precinct  during the 2018 Mardi Gras Parade Season. We donated our time, and Chef Robin created a New Orleans style Eggs Benedict for the officers to enjoy.
